Don’t need cement tools. Don’t need welders. Don’t need drivers. Don’t need any of them...

Flex seal, flex glue, flex tape. Fill my garage with that stuff. I can make anything stick together.

Fucking Phil Swift...

(p.s. I don’t actually know if any of that shit works, but I am intrigued.)

I wonder if it’s that strong, would it be a terrible prank to flex glue someone to a toilet seat?

Add FiberFix to your list of must-have adhesives.

Gluing people to toilets is a bad idea. There have been some lawsuits stemming from people getting glued to toilet seat by pranksters in retail stores.

If you use flex tape as a head gasket, you won’t even need head bolts..

What I was trying to say - is there an undo/unglue thing... like in sharkbite. Little horseshoe type plastic to release. I can’t imagine there isn’t one for this. Otherwise, I am applying this glue all around the house.... see who visits.. they will stick around for sure.

That brings up an interesting idea... what if you don’t use bolts at all. Can you stick an engine together enough for it to operate? Sure the gaps will be all sorts of fucked up, but can it be done?

I love how they suggest the tape it suitable for reattaching a truck bumper. Seems like a lawsuit just waiting to happen.

There’s a few guys on youtube making repairs to cylinder heads and engine blocks with JB Weld. I didn’t see anyone trying to glue a head to block with the stuff.

My dad used flex tape to “repair” the rain gutter on his NA miata when we changed the top. That stuff was super sticky, and ended up resembling the flexible rain gutter you get with aftermarket tops. It worked really well actually. I probably wouldn’t go that route for my own project, but it did work.
